Hounslow’s authentic Nepalese restaurant MoMo & Roti will open a second site in Wembley next month. The launch of the second site on Wembley’s Ealing Road comes five months after the group’s first site opened, and Head Chef Baral says that the initial branch is already doing well.

Owner Binod Baral noted Himalayan cuisine’s affinity with Indian/Chinese cooking, and decided to add Indo-Chinese to his repertoire to appeal to the tastes of Hounslow’s Indian community.
Baral explained how, in the context of Nepal, people usually go to the spiritual (dharma-karma) path after their 50s, but he wanted to start his own restaurant serving authentic Nepali food with the local taste of Nepal. “I wanted to go back to my roots,” he discloses.
